Jūrmala Running Festival

Jūrmala Running Festival 2025 will take place on 4 May 2025 at Majori beach, Jūrmala. This event is a great opportunity for residents and guests of Jūrmala to participate in sports and active recreation activities, especially inviting children and young people. The aim of the event is to promote the popularity of sports activities and healthy lifestyles, with a special focus on running and Nordic walking activities. The event also helps to promote Jūrmala as a healthy lifestyle city.

The event is organised in cooperation with Jūrmala City Council and the Latvian Folk Sports Association. Participants will have access to several distances, including 10 km and 5 km races, as well as children's races and Nordic walking distances. All participants who successfully complete the race will receive commemorative medals. There will be different time limits for the distances and competitors can take part as professionals or as a class.

The event will start in the morning with registration, which will be provided until different times depending on the distance chosen. Runners can take part in both children's and adult distances, ranging from children's races to 10 km runs. At the end of the event, an awards ceremony will be held to honour the fastest runners in each distance.

Registration for the race is possible both in advance and on the day, and participants can collect their bib numbers both before and at the event.
