ROJAS Half Marathon Festival

The 24h ROJA Ultramarathon Festival is an endurance running festival in Roja, which takes place at the Roja Stadium and on the nearby streets. It is unique in that you can choose between a "time run" (6h, 12h, 24h), a classic marathon (42.195 km), and you can also walk the distance — the main thing is to find your pace and stay on the right side of the track so that the fastest runners can run unhindered. The track is 1.23474 km long, covered with asphalt and located in a stadium. The track is fenced off, safe and lit at night, so the event is also suitable for those trying the ultra format for the first time.

Participants should note that the starts are divided into two days — the 24-hour start is on May 29, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., the 12-hour start is on May 29, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., the 6-hour start is on May 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., while the marathon (42.195 km) starts on May 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. After the finish signal, 6h/12h/24h participants must stop and wait for the organizer's representative to take the finish measurement and correctly count the last meters run. The main support area is at the starting line in the stadium (food, drinks, medical care), and 12h and 24h runners will also be provided with a hot meal approximately every 6 hours. Individual support areas are available, which participants can set up themselves, and no more than two people are allowed to help. During the race, participants are not allowed to be accompanied by bicycles, scooters or roller skates, but there are changing rooms, toilets and showers in the stadium under the stands. The festival has a friendly and motivating atmosphere — it brings together both participants in the Latvian 24-hour running championship and those who simply want to test themselves over a longer distance and experience the real ultra atmosphere.
