Run Riga – Lucavsala

On July 30, 2026, Run Riga Stage 4 will take you to the Lucavsala boat dock — a summer evening run by the Daugava River, where the sunset, proximity to the water, and spacious island create a particularly light and free atmosphere. Here, the city remains in the background, while the foreground is filled with flat paths, open space, and a fast, steady pace — ideal for both personal records and a peaceful run for pleasure.

The Lucavsala track is suitable for different levels of fitness: beginners can choose the health distance and enjoy the movement without rushing, young people can start with a 1 km race, while the most active runners will compete in 5 km and 10 km distances. Younger participants can take part in children's races with separate starts, so that everyone can reach the finish line safely and happily.

The evening traditionally has a clear program: number pick-up, children's starts, joint start for 1 km/5 km/10 km and the health distance, followed by awards for the 5 km and 10 km distances. Lucavsala is the stage where sport turns into summer recreation — run, breathe in the river air and end July with a beautiful finish on the island.
