Wizz Air Venice Marathon

Wizz Air Venice Marathon is a rare chance to experience Venice not as a tourist, but as a runner—moving from elegant riverfront scenery into the legendary city on water. The event blends a big-race atmosphere with an unforgettable finish at Riva Sette Martiri, right by St. Mark’s Basin, plus a full weekend vibe with Expo activities and extra reasons to make it a true Venetian getaway.

Marathon (42K)
The signature distance starts near Villa Pisani along the Riviera del Brenta, passing historic villas before heading toward Venice. The course is mostly flat and fast, with a few short rises between roughly km 25–35, then a memorable finale across Venice’s canal crossings. Expect the emotional highlight of the temporary Grand Canal bridge, followed by iconic landmarks like Piazza San Marco and the Doge’s Palace, before the waterfront finish.

Half Marathon (21K)
A perfect option if you want the Venice experience with a shorter effort. The race begins in Mestre (Piazza Ferretto), runs through the city’s modern heart and green stretches near San Giuliano Park, then crosses Ponte della Libertà into Venice. The final section stays close to the water and delivers a spectacular finish at Riva Sette Martiri.

VM10K
10K is a non competitive race open to everyone on the last 10 kms of the Venicemarathon race course. It is the race that gives everyone the chance to experience the beauty of the Venicemarathon.

Alì Family Run
The most accessible way to run into Venice and still collect the “wow” moments. Starting from San Giuliano Park (Mestre), you cross Ponte della Libertà into the historic center, run along the scenic Zattere waterfront, and take on the temporary Grand Canal bridge before passing near San Marco and finishing at Riva Sette Martiri. Ideal for first-timers, visitors, or anyone who wants maximum scenery in minimum distance.
