Wizz Air Milan Marathon

Italy’s fastest marathon is preparing to welcome more than 35,000 participants, including marathon runners, relay runners and family runners, for an increasingly modern and engaging event. With a 42.195 km loop course, renowned for its smoothness, the race will start and finish in the heart of Milan in Piazza del Duomo, animated by cheering points and DJs that will turn the city into a real party. The official training programme, realised in collaboration with running clubs from all over Italy, includes two long sessions in Monza and Pavia to better prepare for the event. It will be an unmissable opportunity to improve one’s performance in an atmosphere worthy of the greatest international marathons.

- Wizz Air Milano Marathon Race:
The Wizz Air Milano Marathon confirms its strengths for 2025 as well: a fast and scenic course that runs mostly in the heart of the city, medal and jersey for all finishers, a state-of-the-art Running Festival that turns into a modern and engaging running fair for three days.

But it confirms the features of the last edition: the start and finish in the beautiful setting of Piazza del Duomo and the cheering points that will turn the city into a real party and motivate you along every km of the route.

For the 23rd edition, more than 10.000 runners are expected to transform the city into an unforgettable day of celebration on April 6!

- UniCredit Relay Marathon Race:
The UniCredit Relay Marathon is the running format that allows the official race route to be divided into four fractions, each between 6.5 and 13 kilometers long. Now in its 13th edition, the relay has achieved great success within the Milan competition over the years, involving a huge number of people (more than 16 thousand runners registered in 2024).

- Levissima Family Run Race:
The Levissima Family Run 2025 is the race scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at 9:00 a.m. The Levissima Family Run is the evolution of the School Marathon, which has always been organized in collaboration with OPES (Organization for Sports Education), which in 7 years has registered the participation of more than 54 thousand participants, including over 8,000 in 2024.

Starting this year, the event opens up to families, allowing participation to anyone who wants to experience a day of fun and sports.

- Dog Run Race:
A walk-run with your four-legged friends, that’s the name of the Dog Run, the format introduced in the Milano Running Festival schedule on Saturday afternoon. A two-kilometer non-competitive race reserved for pets and pet parents. The third edition of the Dog Run is an opportunity to enhance the pleasure of spending time in the company of your pet doing sports activities.
