The Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon by Brooks is a big-city race experience set in the heart of the Eternal City. On 18 October 2026, runners take on a fast 21K course with start and finish in central Rome, turning the streets into a moving tour of world-famous landmarks. In just its second edition the event became Italy’s most participated half marathon with 22,304 registered runners, and the next edition builds on that momentum with even more international energy.

Organized by RomaOstia and RCS Sports & Events for the Municipality of Rome, the race combines serious performance with iconic scenery. Brooks Running joins as Presenting Sponsor and Official Technical Partner, adding training sessions, social runs, and race-week experiences to help runners prepare and feel part of the community. Alongside the race weekend, the Longevity Run brings a strong well-being focus, promoting healthy lifestyles and cardiovascular prevention through an accessible, non-competitive format.

A fast, central-city 21K that lets you run through Rome’s history at race pace. The route showcases unforgettable locations and classic Roman panoramas, passing landmarks such as the Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Piazza Navona, and the Colosseum-area sights. The course begins on Via del Circo Massimo with a short early downhill before settling into long runnable sections, making it a strong choice for a first half marathon, a confident finish, or a serious PB attempt. Big crowds, a major-event atmosphere, and the feeling of racing inside an open-air museum make this one of Europe’s most memorable half marathons.
