Poznan Marathon

The Poznań Marathon returns on 4 October 2026 with a special milestone: the 25th jubilee edition of one of Poland’s most established road races. For a quarter of a century, Poznań has brought together thousands of runners and spectators for a true city-wide running day — and this anniversary edition is set to feel bigger, louder, and more meaningful than ever.

If you’re looking for a marathon built for steady pacing and strong results, Poznań delivers. The 42.195 km course is known for its flat, urban character and smooth flow through city streets and greener sections. You’ll pass key Poznań landmarks along the way — including Enea Stadium, the scenic area around Lake Malta, and the historic Old Town — before finishing near the Poznań International Fair. The whole weekend is designed like a running festival. From Friday and Saturday, you can pick up your bib and visit the Poznań Run Expo at MTP (Hall 3), with additional events like Poznań Five and the Pho3nix Kids Marathon adding a family-friendly dimension. Race morning starts with a proper build-up: opening ceremony, warm-up, a dedicated start for wheelchair athletes, and then the main marathon gun at 09:00 — finishing with a closing ceremony in the afternoon.
