Verona Run Marathon

The 25th Verona Run Marathon turns Verona into a full weekend running celebration, with 42K, 21K and a Family Run on the program. The race blends fast city running with the atmosphere of a historic destination — starting from P.zzale Olimpia (Stadio) and finishing in Piazza Bra, right in the heart of Verona.

Expect a well-supported event experience with official timing, refreshment stations, pacers, medical support, a wardrobe/bag drop service, and an EXPO area at PalaOlimpia (AGSM Forum) for bib pickup. With typical mid-November conditions around 9°C and clear time limits (6 hours for 42K, 3 hours for 21K), it’s a strong choice for both first-time finishers and runners chasing a solid result.

• 42K Marathon (42.195 km)

The Verona Run Marathon 42K is the flagship distance — a full 42.195 km challenge with a classic big-race feel: timed results, on-course support, and a finish in Piazza Bra. It’s designed for runners who want the complete marathon experience in a landmark Italian city, with pacing help and regular aid stations to keep the rhythm steady.

Time limit: 6 hours
Note: A time gate is set at 20 km (11:30) — if you miss it, you’ll be redirected to finish with the 21K runners.

• 21K Half Marathon (21.0975 km)

The Verona Run Marathon 21K is the ideal “race hard, recover fast” option — long enough to feel like a serious performance, but approachable for a wide range of runners. You’ll get the same premium event setup (timing, aid stations, support services) and the same unforgettable Verona finish-line atmosphere.

• Family Run

The Family Run is the relaxed, community-style part of the weekend — made for families, casual runners, and anyone who wants to be part of the Verona race atmosphere without racing for time. It’s about sharing the experience, moving together, and finishing with a smile in the middle of a big event weekend.
