The Maratonina dei Borghi is a half marathon road race held annually since 2006 in Pordenone, a town of about 52,000 people located on the vast Friulian Plain in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in Italy.
Starting and finishing on Piazza XX Settembre (pictured) in the town centre, the race course is a flat loop through urban and green areas in different borghi (quarters) of Pordenone.
Every year, the event attracts a fair number of elite runners.
In addition to the half marathon race, the event offers an 8k non-competitive run (StraPordenone).
