Running for a Cause: 10K Valencia Ibercaja by Kiprun Raises Over €11,000

Experience the spirit of community and compassion at the 10K Valencia Ibercaja by Kiprun. More than just a race, this event brings together athletes with a shared purpose — making a real difference.

In the latest edition, the event raised an impressive €11,555 to support individuals affected by the Dana virus, showcasing the generosity and solidarity of the running community. A total of 2,600 participants across both the 10K and 5K races opted to donate during registration, contributing €9,664 of the total. This means that 15.76% of all registrants chose to give back — a clear sign that many runners are committed to more than just their personal bests.

Every euro raised has been donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Valencia, where it will support essential social aid for cancer patients and their families.

This initiative reflects the powerful impact that sports and solidarity can achieve when combined with purpose.
