10th TUI Rhodes International Marathon, April 6, 2025 The 10th TUI Rhodes International Marathon will take place on April 6, 2025. In addition to the Marathon and Half Marathon, there are 5km and 10km races available providing more options for runners. All races will start and finish in the city centre at Eleftherias Square, passing by the main attractions of Rhodes, on a car-free route. The Rhodes International Marathon has been held since 2014, having evolved into an institution. The race was inspired by the late George Zaras, a Greek-American expatriate from Rhodes. Together with Marietta Papavassiliou, President of the Organizing Committee and the American super-athlete and author Wayne Kurtz, he designed a marathon route that is now a benchmark for the global running community. It is a coastal route next to the walls of the Medieval City with a view of the Aegean Sea, 42,195 meters next to the endless blue sea, a unique experience for every runner. A sporting event of global appeal, designed to make the most of the unique cultural and natural setting of the island of Rhodes.
