Sigulda Mountain Marathon

Siguldas kalnu maratons 2026 is a trail-running event in Sigulda, Latvia, scheduled for 26 September. The race is built around the steep terrain of the Gauja Valley and the trails of Gauja National Park, making it a very different experience from a standard road marathon. The event is best understood as a demanding autumn trail challenge rather than a flat city race.

The 2026 edition is expected to include an approximately 70 km marathon distance with around 3000 metres of ascent and descent, a 35 km distance, and a shorter 10+ km mountain cross option.
