Gauja Trail by UTMB

Gauja Trail by UTMB 2026 brings a UTMB World Series trail-running event to Latvia’s Gauja National Park on 1–2 August 2026. The event is centred in Cēsis, with the event village and finish area at Rožu laukums, while the longer races also use starts in Sigulda and Ratnieki/Līgatne. With race options from Kids and Youth distances to 10K, 20K, 50K and 100K categories, the event gives different types of runners a clear way to take part.

The main appeal is the range of trail experiences in one weekend. Newer trail runners can choose the 10K or 20K routes around Cēsis, young participants have dedicated Kids and Youth races, and experienced trail runners can take on longer point-to-point or extended routes through the Gauja National Park area. The 100K and 50K races include UTMB Running Stones, making the event especially relevant for runners building a UTMB World Series profile.
