Kuldiga Half Marathon

The Kuldīga Half Marathon is celebrating its 21st anniversary and invites you to a real running festival in one of the most beautiful cities in Latvia. This is an event where athletic challenge meets summer atmosphere: spectator support, old town streets, the proximity of the Venta River, and a memorable finish line. In 2026, the competition will also be the Latvian Half Marathon Championship, so both the fastest runners and amateurs who have come to test themselves and enjoy Kuldīga will be at the starting line. The program includes distances for different levels, as well as children's races and toddler crawling — so that the whole family can participate in the festivities. • 21.0975 km — half marathon The main distance of the day with a championship atmosphere and strong competition. Ideal if you want to run for results, test your endurance, and enjoy the full Kuldīga half marathon experience with spectator support along the route and medals at the finish line. • 10.565 km — 10 km run A fast and athletic format for those who want a taste of competition but a shorter distance. A good choice for both ambitious amateurs and those who want to "set the pace" and run a steady, controlled 10 km with the adrenaline rush of the finish line. • 5.299 km — 5 km run An accessible distance with a great atmosphere — you can run fast or simply enjoy the event without excessive pressure. Suitable for first-time competitors, as well as those who have come to the running festival with friends or colleagues. • Nordic walking 5.299 km An alternative active participation for those who prefer Nordic walking. The same energy and feeling of achievement, but at a pace that allows a wider range of participants to take part. • Children's races (200–600 m) Short, age-appropriate races in a safe environment with lots of excitement. This is an opportunity for children to experience the feeling of a "real event" — numbers, finish line, prizes, and applause. • Toddler crawl A small, cute highlight of the program in the finish area — for families and the youngest participants. Perfect as the most heartwarming moment of the event and a good reason for the whole family to come.
