The running series “30 minutes 2026” in Daugavpils is a spring challenge for everyone who wants to be more active and test their endurance in a real race atmosphere. The series takes place on 7 Wednesdays in a row (25.03., 01.04., 08.04., 15.04., 22.04., 29.04., 06.05.2026) in Daugavpils Esplanāde Recreation Park, on a 580 m loop, with the start at 19:00. The format is simple and exciting: 30 minutes of running, and only full laps are counted. In the overall standings, the 4 best stages are included, so you can start calmly and improve from week to week. Anyone can take part regardless of age or fitness level — there are several age groups for women and men, and the participant limit is 200. After the final stage on May 6, the awards ceremony will take place, and participants who have completed at least 4 stages will also be able to receive a commemorative medal. The series takes place in a friendly, motivating environment, and Esplanāde Park itself is a great place for active leisure — with well-kept paths, sports areas, and even a free drinking-water tap.
