Sunrise Marathon & Half Marathon

SUNRISE MARATHON | HALFMARATHON 2026 is a solstice race in Brno–Modřice (Czech Republic) that starts before dawn — at 04:48 CEST on Sunday, June 21, 2026 — to meet the day as it wakes up. The concept is the experience: running through the quiet, early-morning stillness, watching the light change, and finishing as the city fully comes alive.

The race is built for smooth pacing and clear structure: a flat profile on a mostly paved course, electronic chip timing, and a loop format (the marathon is 5 equal laps). The event hub and start/finish are at Olympia Shopping Mall Brno, Modřice, with refreshment and support facilities close to the course. Both distances share the same sunrise start, with a 6-hour time limit ending at 10:48 CEST. Every finisher receives a medal, and winners earn trophies and prizes (with cash awards listed for the marathon podium).
