Explore Race Details
The Běh kolem Světa ("Run around the World") takes place in the Třeboňsko landscape park, a protected area of vast fish ponds in the Jihočeský kraj (South Bohemian Region) in the Czech Republic.
Participants run one lap, 11.729km, around Svět ("World"), the 14th-largest fish pond in Czechia.
The race is run on mixed terrain.
The route follows the naučná stezka (educational trail) around the lake, starting and finishing at the entrance to the lázeňský park (spa park) in Třeboň, a small town with an impressive Renaissance castle complex and a very beautiful historic centre.
