The Cablenet Famagusta Run is a brand-new international road-running event in Protaras, Cyprus, created to bring together athletes, families and communities along one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic seaside resorts. With all races starting and finishing at Fig Tree Bay, the event delivers a clean, fast coastal running experience — sea views, salty breeze and a lively destination vibe that feels as much like a celebration as a competition. It’s ideal for first-timers chasing a memorable finish by the water and for experienced runners looking for a smooth, runnable course. • 30 km Run The longest challenge of the event, built for runners who want a true endurance test without extreme climbs. The course starts at Fig Tree Bay, follows the scenic coastal road toward the Ayia Triada roundabout (Kapparis area), then loops back to Protaras—long stretches of open coastline, steady pacing and big Mediterranean views. • 10 km Race A fast, energetic 10K designed for speed and strong effort. Starting from Fig Tree Bay, the route heads to the Ayia Triada roundabout before returning to Protaras — perfect for chasing a personal best or enjoying a powerful coastal race without the longer-distance commitment. • 5 km Individual Race The most accessible race of the day and the easiest way to be part of the Famagusta running experience. With a start and finish at Fig Tree Bay, this 5K suits everyone — from beginners and casual runners to those aiming for a sharp, quick result in a big-event atmosphere. • 5 km Corporate Race A team-focused 5K made for companies, organizations, and groups who want to run together. It’s all about fun, unity and shared motivation — same seaside setting, same Fig Tree Bay start/finish, but with the energy of teamwork and group pride. • 1 km Fun Race (Kids) A joyful kids’ run that introduces children to racing in a safe, supportive environment.
