On May 23, 2026, Malmö once again hosts the original and most popular stop of the Toughest tour — the event where it all began back in 2013. Over the years, it has grown into a cornerstone of the Scandinavian OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) scene, blending competition, fun, and festival vibes into one unforgettable weekend.

Set on the flat and fast urban course of Ribersborg beach, the race combines 8 km of mud, sand, and water with Toughest’s award-winning obstacles. From climbing walls and monkey bars to crawls and balance tests, every challenge is designed to push you — while still being achievable for runners of all levels. With fast lanes for extra technical difficulty and a “Double Distance” option for those who want more, the course is as flexible as it is thrilling.

The Malmö event isn’t just for elite athletes — it’s for everyone. Join as a group of friends, with your company for a team-building kick-off, or bring the family for the 2 km Toughest Family race, specially adapted for younger participants. Newcomers can also try Xplore, a 4 km version that’s all about having fun at your own pace.
