Tjurruset 2025 – Get Ready for a Muddy Adventure!

Tjurruset returns on October 4, 2025, promising an event that combines challenge, fun, and plenty of mud! Participants can expect to experience a race that guarantees muscle fatigue, huge smiles, and dirt everywhere. It’s not just a race – it’s a full-on adventure, and choosing durable, old clothes is highly recommended. The event is designed for those who aren’t afraid of getting their hands dirty and their clothes stained, and it’s essential to pick shoes that can handle getting stuck in the mud.

This year, the race takes place in Rudan Nature Reserve in Haninge, marking the third time the competition has been held at this location – the last time was in 2006. It’s set to be one of the most fun races in Sweden!

Race Options: 5 or 10 Kilometers

Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-timer, you can choose between a 5 km or 10 km course. The race is designed to be as fun as it is muddy, and everyone is welcome to participate. The preliminary start times are 11:00 AM for the 5 km race and 12:00 PM for the 10 km race.

Participants who register before September 1st will receive their race bibs in the mail. For those registering after that, bibs will be available for pickup at the event area.

Muddy Buddy Team Challenge

For an extra twist, Tjurruset introduces the Muddy Buddy team challenge! This allows participants to sign up with two friends, family members, or colleagues to form a three-person team. By registering a team, each member gets a 150 SEK discount (50 SEK per person). Teams can include both men and women, and everyone will run the same distance. Those participating in the Muddy Buddy challenge will also be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win fantastic prizes.
