Patria Race - Saulkrasti

Patria Race Saulkrasti is a summer obstacle-run adventure right on the seashore—running on sand and along the beach, with refreshing water obstacles too. For the third year in a row, participants gather at “Kapteiņa Kaija” to enjoy a true beach OCR vibe: sun, sea breeze, friendly competition, and that satisfying finish-line feeling. This event isn’t only about running—it’s about movement, courage, and the summer “I can do this!” energy you get from both team support and a personal challenge.

On course you’ll face obstacles that test coordination, strength, and balance: rope climbs, walls and traverses, monkey bars, rings, barbed-wire net crawling, weight pulls and carries, tire flips/rolls, spear and grenade throws, plus Milpro Group shooting—with a penalty loop if you miss. The organizers focus on safe, clear obstacle principles—move smart, don’t rush, and enjoy the process.

• Intro Run / Walk (5 km)
The friendliest way to try the Patria Race format. Great for enjoying the seaside route, tasting the obstacles, and soaking up the summer atmosphere without pressure for results. Perfect for first-timers, friends, and families.

• 5 km Run
A short but dynamic distance with obstacles—run fast where you can and take your time on the tougher parts. A great choice if you want adrenaline without a very long effort.

• 10 km Run (Individual)
A longer, more complete test of endurance and mindset. Here you really feel the “run + strength + technique” mix, because obstacles repeat and fatigue starts to matter.

• 10 km Team Distance
For those who want the adventure together. In a team it’s easier to push through, help each other on obstacles, and share the emotions at the finish. Ideal for friend groups and workplaces looking for real summer team bonding.

On race day, registration runs from 10:00 to 14:00, the awards ceremony is planned for 15:30, and all finishers take part in the participant lottery—one more reason to stay until the end and enjoy the event to the last minute.
