The TOYOTA RIGA CYCLING MARATHON is the largest and most ambitious cycling event in the Baltic capitals, transforming the center of Riga into a cyclist's paradise once a year. The start and finish are traditionally on 11 November Embankment, and the main attraction is the rare opportunity to ride along Riga's widest streets and bridges without the stress of everyday traffic. The event brings everyone together — from families and beginners to amateurs and athletes who train seriously. The event is dominated by a sense of community, spectator support, and a true "Riga on a bike" adventure. • 64 km — Sports ride A distance for experienced and trained cyclists who feel confident riding in a group and maintaining a high pace. Tactics, position selection, and the ability to work in a peloton are important here, as the ride is more dynamic and more competitive. Recommended for those who already have a regular training schedule and previous competition experience. • 32 km — People's Ride
The most popular and crowded distance of the event — ideal if you want to compete with friends, colleagues, or simply test yourself in a pleasant competitive atmosphere. No competitive experience is necessary, but it is definitely worth doing a few training rides before the start. A good choice for both your "first big start" and for experienced amateurs who want a fast and exciting route through the city. • 16 km — Maxima Family Ride A friendly format for families, work teams, and beginners. A single-lap route (the same base used for the 32 km and 64 km rides) allows you to enjoy the center of Riga without excessive exertion. The main thing here is being together, riding safely, and enjoying the finish line — without pressure to achieve a result.
• 0.2–2 km — Children's rides A non-competitive (no competitive tension) ride on the 11th November Embankment, where children can feel the support of fans and the energy of a big event. The short distances allow children of different ages to participate, and special prizes from the organizers and sponsors await them at the finish line. Ideal for a first "competition" experience and a safe, positive adventure.
