Tromsø Relay

Tromsø Relay is a brand-new city-centre relay race (premiere edition) built as a Friday-evening style folk festival — but held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in the heart of Tromsø. The focus is as much on team spirit, atmosphere and having fun together as it is on running fast. Expect a lively course environment with spectators, teams, and a finish-line celebration feeling.

The relay is designed for teams of friends, families, clubs, and coworkers, with multiple classes so different pace levels can take part. The route is split into 8 stages, described as varied and challenging — with different surfaces, different lengths, and changing gradients. Start and finish are both at Stortorget, central Tromsø. Minimum age across classes is 13 years (born in 2013). Every participant receives a medal, and there are prizes for the winning team in each class (plus prize draws among participating teams).
