The Swedbank Vilnius Marathon celebrates its 23rd edition on 13 September 2026, uniting thousands of runners in Lithuania’s capital. It is the country’s largest running event, held each autumn in the heart of Vilnius, attracting both elite athletes and amateurs from across the nation and abroad.

Participants can choose from a wide range of distances:

Marathon – 42.195 km

Half Marathon – 21.098 km

10 km

200 m Children’s Run

The scenic route leads through Vilnius’ historic Old Town, along riverside paths and leafy boulevards, creating a unique mix of sport and culture. Thousands of spectators and lively entertainment add to the festival atmosphere.

Special perks await participants: the first 1,500 children to register will receive a free event T-shirt, while the first 2,000 marathoners get an official race shirt. Early registrants also enjoy personalised bib numbers.
