Start your spring running season with a truly vibrant, springtime event in Budapest! Participate in Hungary’s largest two-day spring sports event, where you can run AIMS-certified distances of 7 km, 10 km, and half marathon. The start and finish areas will be set up in a green, flower-filled park on Margaret Island, while the route will take you past some of Budapest’s most beautiful sights. At Telekom Vivicitta, both professionals and amateurs, and even the whole family, can find their own challenge and run to welcome the spring!
The Vivicitta Spring Half Marathon (Budapest Spring Half Marathon) is part of a 2-day long event all about running. On Sunday you can choose between a half marathon (21 km), a Vivicitta (10 km) while on Saturday the focus is on shorter distances (for example Midicitta 7 km) for the less experienced runners. The distance is essentially a sightseeing run. You can run across several bridges over the Danube, admire the view of Buda Castle from the Danube bank, the panorama of Pest and the building of Europe’s third largest parliament. Yeah, this sounds pretty cool, doesn’t it?
