The UTM – Ultra Trail do Marão offers a true adventure challenge, taking you on foot through the most fearsome mountains and rugged peaks of this mountain range—whether through snow or over rock—bordered by the Tâmega River (west), Corgo River (east), and Douro River (south). Trails filled with history transport us to the imagination of times past, making us feel firsthand how harsh these mountains have been for their people. People of sacrifice and simplicity.
