Salomon Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail 2026 takes place as part of the Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail weekend from 31 July to 2 August 2026 in Mandarfen, Pitztal, Austria. The Golden Trail World Series race is scheduled for 1 August 2026. The GTWS race is listed as 23.5 km with 1,700 m of elevation gain. The route is positioned as a high-alpine and technical race in the Austrian Alps, with glacier scenery, exposed terrain and fast sections that require both climbing strength and descending skill. This event is a strong HotWay candidate for trail runners who want a technical alpine race within a major international trail series. The broader event weekend also includes multiple longer and shorter trail races, but HotWay should keep the GTWS race row separate from the other Pitz Alpine distances unless the full weekend structure is being added.
