Vējupe, Ādažu Aquathlon 2025

On 24 August 2025, two exciting sporting events will take place in Adazi: the swimming competition "Vējupe 2025" and the aquathlon "Adazi Aquathlon 2025". These events are organised by the Triathlon and Swimming Club TRI KAN in cooperation with the Swimming Club "Rīga".

The swimming competition "Vējupe 2025" is an open water competition where participants can test their abilities in various distances - from 100 metres for children to 3000 metres for experienced swimmers. The competition is open to all age groups, from the very young to veterans. All swims will take place in the picturesque Vējupe pool and the start pack will be available from 10:00 to 11:30. The programme includes the following distances: 100 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m and 3000 m.

Aquathlon "Ādaži Aquathlon 2025" is a varied competition combining running and swimming. Participants will compete in different categories, from the youngest to the most mature athletes. The distances range from 0.1 km swim and 0.5 km run to more challenging distances of 1 km swim and 5 km run. The event is suitable for both professional athletes and enthusiasts, as well as for team relay races. The Transit Zone will open for changing sports at 12:15 and the first wave is scheduled to start at 13:00.

Both events promise to be visually exciting and dynamic, attracting spectators and participants of all fitness levels.
