About the race:
At midnight the streets of Tromsø are flooded by more than 6000 participants from all over the world who have gathered to party the Midnight Sun Marathon.

Under MSM, five different distances are offered. In 2024 the race was a great success where 7,000 runners from 88 nations participated in what quickly became an adventurous race party in Tromsø.

The Midnight Sun Marathon has been held in the Arctic capital of Norway every year since 1990 in Tromsø at 69 degrees north. Most of the city is an island surrounded by the sea with cool mountains, about 350 km north of the arctic circle. Visitors to Northern Norway are rewarded with strong contrasting runs that are intense. The sun doesn't set in the winter and running under the Midnight Sun is a must do for ones bucket list.
