The Lap of the Gap Marathon and Half-Marathon is one of Ireland’s most spectacular road races, set in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains National Park. Known as Ireland’s highest road marathon, the event combines the beauty of a trail run with the smooth flow of a road race, offering participants an unforgettable challenge.

Starting in the charming village of Laragh, the marathon follows the legendary Lap of the Gap circuit, climbing towards the highland pass of Sally Gap.
