The Kreuzberger Viertelmarathon ("Kreuzberg Quarter Marathon") is a 10.5k race held every year in the summer in the densely-populated and multicultural Kreuzberg area in Germany's capital Berlin.
The race begins and ends on the athletics track of the TiB Sportzentrum, near Tempelhofer Park, Berlin's largest public park, formerly the Tempelhof Airport.
Participants run out and back through residential areas in Kreuzberg 61 (the western part of Kreuzberg) into the heart of SO 36 (the eastern part) which has been famous for its alternative lifestyle, subcultures and nightlife since the 1970s.
In addition to the quarter marathon, the event offers a 5.25k race and a 2.5k kids' run.
