In order to live up to this vision, the organizing committee of the 20km de Lausanne strives to make the event an exemplary showcase of sustainable development. This commitment was recognized by Swiss Olympic and its ecosport.ch program, which awarded the event the "for sustainable commitment" prize from 2015 to 2017.
