10th Anniversary Trail Run "Kernavė - Vilnius"

KERNAVĖ TRAIL
This is the longest running ultra-distance trail race in Lithuania, which started back in 2015. It all started with the idea to connect Kernavė, the 13th century capital of Lithuania, with Vilnius, the present-day capital of Lithuania, by running along scenic nature trails. Measured in a straight line, the distance between the two cities is not much - only about 35KM, but the winding river and treacherous forest trails leading through the castle mounds extend the distance to the already classic 82KM from the start in Kernavė to the finish in Vilnius.

Although Lithuania is one of the flattest regions in Europe, we have tried to prepare the trails in such a way that there is no shortage of mountains. We invite you to challenge yourself, your friends or your neighbours and join us in discovering the beautiful nature around Vilnius and Kernavė.
