Ultramarathon Celje - Logarska dolina

The Ultramaraton Celje - Logarska dolina is a running event in the Štajerska (Styria) region in Slovenia.

Four point-to-point races are available:

72km Celje - Logarska dolina
42km Mozirje - Logarska dolina
27km Ljubno - Logarska dolina
17km Luče - Logarska dolina
All four races take the runners along the beautiful Savinjska dolina (Savinja Valley).

With four kilometres to go to the finish, the route turns left into the Logarska dolina (Logar Valley), a picture-postcard glacial valley in the majestic Kamniško-Savinjske Alpe (Kamnik-Savinja Alps).

Finishing the 72km ultramarathon from Celje to Logarska dolina is a major achievement for every runner. The race begins at an elevation of about 240 metres and ends at about 840 metres above sea level. Overall, the course features approximately 1,100 metres of ascent and 500 metres of descent

The 42km marathon includes more than 500 metres of ascent, the 27km race more than 400 metres and the 17km race more than 300 metres.

The route runs mainly on roads which are open to the public, so runners need to be aware of traffic.
