It was in 1956 that the first Vandra Marathon took place and was an annual event till 1994. The race was resurrected for the second time in 2013, a team of runners from Health Club Mispo being reactivated after a 19 years lightning. Last year it became a well known midsized run in Estonia, even in the second place in the best midsized run category. What sets it apart is that it has a small town welcoming atmosphere, a barrel sauna, and a small carriage transformed into a sauna. It even comes with a live music afterparty with dancing for you to participate in, which makes it even better if you have the time.
