La SpoletoNorcia in MTB (2026 Edition) is a mass-participation MTB event in Umbria, Italy, starting from Spoleto on June 2, 2026. It’s not a city ride or a road race — it’s an off-road cycling day inspired by the historic Spoleto–Norcia railway, with a mix of dirt roads and trails, tunnels, bridges/viaducts, and classic Valnerina scenery.

What to know before you go: the event offers multiple route options (from family-friendly to long and demanding), and e-bikes are allowed. Some sections include dark tunnels, so bring your own lights (mandatory on the tougher routes and a smart idea in general). For the longer routes, an official cycling medical certificate may be required, while the Family option is designed to be accessible for most riders. A technical jersey can be selected during registration and is guaranteed for the first 1500 registered participants.
