Santorini Experience 2026 takes place from 16 to 18 October on Santorini, Greece. The programme includes the Ancient Thera Run 5K in Kamari, a 2.4K open-water swim from the Volcano to the Old Port of Fira, and 15K, 10K and 5K trail races from Oia. The event is co-organized by the Municipality of Thira, its Department of Sports and Culture, and ActiveMedia Group. The Ancient Thera route is a 5.01 km asphalt and urban course beneath the archaeological site. The Sunday trail races start and finish at the Desalination Plant in Oia and use volcanic paths, dirt, asphalt and stone-paved sections along the Caldera. The 15K route reaches Imerovigli and the entrance to Fira. The swimming race crosses 2.4 km of open water from the volcanic islet to Fira.
