Biķernieki Folk Cycling Series

Bikernieki People's Cycling Series 2025 Biķernieku Tautas Veloseriāls is a series of five races taking place in Riga. The race is organised by the Latvian Cycling Federation and is open to all age groups - from children to adults. Participants can take part in a variety of disciplines, including children's races, individual races and group races. You can register for the race via the Latvian Cycling Federation platform or on the day of the race. Each participant will be awarded according to their age group and children will receive surprise prizes. Electronic timing, photo finish, prizes, medical assistance and other essential organisational functions will be provided. All races are conducted in accordance with UCI rules and participants should note that they are responsible for their own health during the race. Entry fees are payable upon pre-registration. Distances The Bikernieki People's Cycling Series offers a variety of distances suitable for different age groups and abilities. Children's rides (400m - 2000m) -Designed for children from 2 to 10 years. -Distance length varies depending on age group. -After the ride all children receive surprise prizes. Individual rides (5.5 km - 22 km) -Designed for health, youth and adult groups. -Distance length varies depending on the group (shorter distances for youth and health groups). -Participants compete individually, following a set route. Group ride (70 km) -Designed for experienced participants. -Races are held in groups. -The distance is 70 km, which makes the ride exciting and challenging. Each participant can take part in several disciplines (individual and group). Different prizes are provided depending on the participant's results. Registration and payment Registration is possible via the Latvian Cycling Federation platform. Entry fee is paid before the event.
